A Stitch In Time Saves Nine or Stitch all time save nothing

This was the tittle of the story  base on proverbs which means ”  Doing a job on time is better than to delay it, because it would be more difficult for us to accomplish it”. The story base on this proverb I’d read 2 decayed ago. I can’t remember the whole story, but the tittle came into my mind while I was sewing pieces of cloth –  remnants of my repaired pants. I stitched the pieces of cloth to make  bags.  Sometimes we  just take for granted a little tear on our clothes until it got bigger and bigger and difficult for us to fix it. Why just don’t fix it earlier? ” A Stitch In Time Saves Nine” .My story is not actually following the of this proverbs. Wants to know? Then read my story.

A Stitch In Time Saves nine. I have my version of this story. Stitch All Times save Money. That was should it be happen , but in my case is different. I am sewing pants, dresses as my odd job, aside from being a Gen Sets Operator in Matamba estate one of the biggest palm oil plantation in Sabah Malaysia.  The plantations workers or what we  called in malay language as penombak – (the fresh fruit bunch cutters or a harvesters). Asking for a bag for them to pack their food supply that they brought to the blocks- an area where they worked. The estate is divided into phases and in every phase has 15 to 30 blocks with an average measurement of more or less than 45 hectares per block. This estate has 5 phases and has 78 blocks. Most of the workers where cutters and the rest are manuring, slashing and the hauler . They usually asking for bags from me. So it came into my mind to stitch the pieces of cloth and turned  it a bag – my home-made bags, rather than to just trow it into a trash. It’s better to make it into a valuable stuffs. In other words to recycle it. It’s only a low quality bags not like the one  in the shops. It has a good-looking style and firm. My bag is simple. What the workers up to is for packing their food and water supply they brought to the blocks for lunch, for they are working till the sun sets. They prepare to use my home-made bags compared to that one in a shop. They said my bags were even lasted  longer than what they had bought in store.

Stitching almost all of my leisure time to save money.  To have an extra.  That was should it be, but it’s not. My co-workers not buying my bags in cash. They got it as a loan and paying it upon receiving their salary by the end of the month, but it came in other way.  I’m waiting them to pay my money for the bags, but I’ve got nothing  at all. They didn’t pay as  what they had promised to me. How could I save money when even my capitals  to compensate  the sewing  materials I didn’t even recovered? . Every day, months and  years, I’ve waited them to pay, but until this time no one had pay their debt to me. Shyness made me to lost my income in making bags, pants and even dresses. I Ashamed or hesitate to ask them to pay. I waited them to pay. When is that? I don’t know.

Those kind of people can never be trusted. They are my acquaintance ,meeting them every day, But it’s me who feel ashamed but not not them. Now I’ve change my method on selling my home-made bags. “Pay as you get”. My new procedure made them  stop buying my stuff. Anyway it’s the other way around, they  bought or not.  They just want it for free, there is no difference on it. They bought but not paying it, or not to ask me to sew a bag  for them is just the same. It’s even better if I don’t sew a bag ,  I never have  to lost my capitals and efforts.

I don’t know who is  right and who is wrong?  With these kind of people around me, selfish, greedy and shameless. Why should I care with them. I have my life and I do what I think the right thing to do. This has really prostrating me. As customers lessen and lessen asking  to me to sew for a bags, dresses and pants, thinking that I have much free time now, I decided to writes blogs. Putting all my ideas and experiences to share with others. This might ease my tensions.

Now during my free time,  I found myself setting in front of my lap top writing something on my blogs. Either there will be readers  interest my blog or not it’s not my point. What I am up to is   to voice out my problems to others. It is better than to talk to myself  just to ease me  from  stress and tensions. Let the whole world know my life’s experiences.

I’m happy for what I am doing now.

It’s All About Business

ATM at the secretary of state in Portage, MI

This is a business online I’ve  newly involved. It’s an easy reload for prepaid hand phones. Two months ago I register myself as MyMode mobile agent. To be a member we have to pay for just RM65.00. Where RM55.00 is for the membership fee and the rest is for our modal as  a new business beginner. That is RM11.00. For my first  additional  cash for MyMode Mypoints modal I have bank in RM200.00. It was going smoothly, until I Bank in another RM300.00 on 15th of November 2010.

I was in a hurry that day, because our  bus passenger need to go back  early to our place where I live.
I have bank in the total of RM300.00 to one of the three bank accounts of my admin. I’ve save these in my hand phone‘s notes for reference purposes. the big mistake that I’ve done was that, I didn’t check out the updated bank accounts number of the admin, so had bank in the money into the inactive bank account.

After I had bank in the money. I immediately went to bus stop to go back to Matamba, the palm estate where I stay and work as a laborer in this palm plantation. I’ ve been hoping that my business will be going on again, although I got only a little profit on it. just RM0.10/ RM5.00, but I’m happy for doing this. Aside from be able to sell a reload for my friend’s hand phones and co workers, I also can have my own reload from it. I can do my  business anytime anywhere even in the middle of the night. I like  to be a public servant. I can help people who is in need for the reload when they are urgently in need  for the mobile phone reload..

I was shocked and almost lost my mind knowing that the money that I had bank in was not received by my admin. I can’t stand on my feet.. I was trembling. Yes of course it was only a small amount of money you might think like that. But for me, that was big amount. That’s my half month salary you?. I got myself involve in this  online business  hoping that I could have an extra income, but in reverse I’ve lost my modal.

I made I a call to the admin after several sms I had sent cannot resolved my problem. I was getting more frightened that I had really lost my RM300.00 when my admin said that I was cheated because he did not receive any amount from me. I was not satisfied with his clarifications so I opened my lap top and had the internet on. I used yahoo messenger because my mobile phone was out credit anymore. I didn’t buy a reload because I have this business and I can bought from it for my reload. I asked Mr Adi, who is my admin, if a bank account has been closed for a long time, where could be my money goes?, because he told before  that the  bank account where I bank in the money was already  closed   for two years, He said that, usually the money will not be accepted by bank’s ATM. I used an Agro Bank ATM card to do the bank to bank money transfer.

My mistake is that, I didn’t check out the receipt before leaving the bank.  It has came into mind to check the receipt after Mr Adi told me that matter. What a shy was that I’ve made to myself. It’s true below the receipt was written “TRANSACTION INVALID”. That’s made me feel better. Thanks to Allah, I haven’t lost  my three hundred ringgit.

This is what happen to me,  doing business luck of knowledge. It’s because of my carelessness. This experience will make me more careful. We have to learn from our own mistake and improve ourselves. That’s what  in the sayings “The one who did not commit a mistake is the one who does nothing”
What ever it is, This uplift me and made me more curious on doing something in my life. Experience will  make us more matured.

Culture & Society – Festival & Celebrations

Hari Raya Aidiladha

Apart from Aidilfitri, the festival most grandly celebrated by Muslims the world over is Aidiladha. In Malaysia, it is more commonly known as Hari Raya Korban or Hari Raya Haji and a public holiday is observed.

Celebrated about two months after Aidilfitri, on the 10th day of Zulhijah, the 12th month of the Muslim calendar, it marks the end of the haj pilgrimage period (about two weeks); hence the name Hari Raya Haji (festival of the pilgrimage).

Every year millions of Muslims make the journey to the Holy Land of Mecca in Saudi Arabia to perform the haj, a requirement in Islam as it makes up one of the five tenets of the religion. As long as they have the means to do so, and are able health-wise, Muslims must perform the haj at least once in life. Upon completion of the haj, the men earn the title of “haji” and the women, “hajjah”.

Aidiladha also commemorates the sacrifices made by the prophet Abraham (hence the word “korban” which means sacrifice), who demonstrated immense faith when he was put to the test by God. The prophet was commanded to offer his only son Ishmael up for sacrifice, and though it grieved him greatly, he made ready to perform the task. However, as he was about to strike his son, God stopped him and revealed that it was a trial. Ishmael’s life was spared, and a ram sacrificed in his place.

As such, during Aidiladha, the sacrifice of animals such as lambs, goats, cows, bulls and camels is performed. The animals are slain in accordance with the proper religious rites; the meat is then distributed.

One third of the meat is given to the individual who willingly supplied the animal, while the rest is given to the poor and deserving friends and relatives. It is to be noted that this is not a compulsory religious duty, but an obligation for those who are able to afford it.

The observance of the korban is carried out after the congregational prayers, held early in the morning of Aidiladha. It is not unusual for the slaying to take place within the mosque compound.

The rest of the day is either spent visiting friends and relatives, or entertaining guests at home, as is customary in this multicultural country.

Though in Malaysia the celebration of Aidiladha is relatively solemn compared to Aidilfitri, by no means is it less important, for it is a day when Muslims reaffirm their faith in God, giving thanks for the many blessings that He has bequeathed to them.

The Story of Prophet Ishmâeel ‘alayhis-salaam

Ibn Katheer rahimahullaah
Translated by Muhammad Gemeiah

One day, Abraham woke up and asked his wife Hajar to get her son and prepare for a long journey. In a few days Abraham started out with his wife Hajar and their son Ishmael. The child was still nursing and not yet weaned.

Abraham walked through cultivated land, desert, and mountains until he reached the desert of the Arabian Peninsula and came to an uncultivated valley having no fruit, no trees, no food, no water. The valley had no sign of life. After Abraham had helped his wife and child to dismount, he left them with a small amount of food and water which was hardly enough for 2 days. He turned around and walked away. He wife hurried after him asking: “Where are you going Abraham, leaving us in this barren valley?”

Abraham did not answer her, but continued walking. She repeated what she had said, but he remained silent. Finally she understood that he was not acting on his own initiative. she realized that Allâh had commanded him to do this. She asked him : “Did Allâh command you to do so?” He replied: “Yes.” Then his great wife said: “We are not going to be lost, since Allâh Who has commanded you is with us.”

Abraham invoked Almighty Allâh thus: “O Our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley with no cultivation, by Your Sacred House (the Ka’ba at Mecca); in order, O our Lord, that they may offer prayers perfectly (Iqamat as salat) so fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and O Allâh provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks. O our Lord! Certainly, You know what we conceal and what we reveal. Nothing on the earth or in the heavens is hidden from Allâh.” (Ch 14:37-38)

Ibn Abbas narrated: “The first lady to use a girdle was the mother of Ishmael. she used a girdle so that she might hide her tracks from Sarah (by dragging it). Abraham brought her and her son Ishmael while she was suckling him to a place near the Kaba under a tree on the spot of ZamZam at the highest place in the mosque. During those days there was nobody in Mecca, nor was there any water so he made them sit over there and placed near them a leather bag containing some dates and a small water skin containing some water and set out homeward. Ishmael’s mother followed him saying: “O Abraham! Where are you going, leaving us in this valley where there is no person whose company we may enjoy, nor is there anything to enjoy?” she repeated that to him many times, but he did not look back at her. Then she asked him : “Has Allâh ordered you to do so?” He said: “Yes.” She then said: “Then HE will not neglect us,” and returned while Abraham proceeded onwards. On reaching the Thaniya where they could not see him, he faced the Kaba and raising both hands, invoked Allâh saying the following prayers: “O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Your Sacred House (Kaba at Mecca) in order, O our Lord that they may offer prayer perfectly. So fill some hearts among men with love towards them, and O Allâh provide them with fruits so that they may give thanks.” (Ch 14:37)

Ibn Abbas’s narration continued; “Ishmael’s mother went on suckling Ishmael and drinking from the water (she had) When the water in the water skin had been used up, she became thirsty and her child also became thirsty, She started looking at him (Ishmael) tossing in agony. She left him, for she could not endure looking at him, and found that the mountain of As-Safa was the nearest mountain to her on that land. she too on it and started looking at the valley keenly so that she might see somebody, but she could not see anybody. Then she descended for As Safa and when she reached the valley, she tucked up her robe and ran in the valley like a person in distress and trouble till she crossed the valley and reached the mountain of Al Marwa. There she stood and started looking expecting to see somebody, but she could not see anybody. she repeated that running between Safa And Marwa seven times.”

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said: “This is the source of the tradition of the Sa’y (rituals of the hajj, pilgrimage) the going of people between them (As-Safa and Al-Marwa). When she reached Al Marwa (for the last time) she heard a voice and she asked herself to be quiet and listened attentively. She heard the voice again and said: “O whoever you maybe! You have made me hear your voice; have you got something to help me?” And behold! She saw an angel at the place of Zam zam, digging the earth with his heel (or his wing) till water flowed from that place. She started to make something like a basin around it, using her hand in this way, and started filling her water skin with water with her hands and the water was flowing out water she had scooped some of it.”

The Prophet peace be upon him added: “May Allâh bestow mercy on Ishmael’s mother! Had she let the zam-zam flow without trying to control it, or had she not scooped from that water to fill her water skin, Zam zam would have been a stream flowing on the surface of the earth.”

The Prophet peace be upon him continued: “Then she drank water and suckled her child. The angel said to her: “Don’t be afraid of being neglected, for this is the House of Allâh which will be built by this boy and his father, and Allâh never neglects His people.” The House (Kaba) at that time was on a high place resembling a hillock, and when torrents came, they flowed to its right and left.

“She lived in that way till some people from the tribe of Jurhum or a family from Jurhum passed by her and her child as they (the Jurhum people) were coming through the way of Kada. they landed in the lower part of Mecca where they saw a bird that had the habit of flying around water and not leaving it. they said: “this bird must be flying around water, though we know that there is no water in this valley.” They sent one or two messengers who discovered the source of water and returned to inform them of the water. SO they all came towards the water. Ishmael’s mother was sitting near the water. They asked her: “Do you allow us to stay with you?” She replied: “Yes, but you will have no right to possess the water.” They agreed to that. Ishmael’s mother was pleased with the whole situation, as she used to love to enjoy the company of the people, so they settled there, and later on they sent for their families who came and settled with them so that some families became permanent residents there. The child (Ishmael) grew up and learned Arabic from them and (his virtues) caused them to love and admire him as he grew up and when he reached the age of puberty they made him marry a woman from amongst them.”

The Prophet peace be upon him continued: “After Ishmael’s mother had died, Abraham came after Ishmael’s marriage in order to see his family that he had left before but he did not find Ishmael there. When he asked Ishmael’s wife about him, she replied: “He has gone in search of livelihood.” Then he asked her about their way of living and their condition, and she replied, “We are living in misery; we are living in hardship and destitution,’ complaining to him. He said: “When your husband returns, convey my salutations to him and tell him to change the threshold of the gate (of his house).’

“When Ishmael came, he seemed to have felt something unusual, so he asked his wife: ‘Has anyone visited you?’ she replied, ‘Yes, an old man of such and such description came and asked me about you and I informed him and he asked about our state of living and I told him that we were living in a hardship and poverty.’ On that Ishmael said: ‘Did he advise you anything?’ She said: ‘Yes he told me to convey his salutation to you and to tell you to change the threshold of your gate.’ Ishmael said: ‘It was my father and he has ordered me to divorce you. Go back to your family.’ so, Ishmael divorced her and married another woman from among them (Jurhum).

“Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allâh wished and called on them again but did not find Ishmael. So he came to Ishmael’s wife and asked her about Ishmael. She said: ‘he has gone in search of our livelihood.’ Abraham asked her; ‘how are you getting on?’ asking her about their sustenance and living. she replied: ‘we are prosperous and well off (we have everything in abundance).’ then she thanked Allâh. Abraham said: ‘What kind of food do you eat?’ she said: ‘meat.’ he said: ‘what do you drink?’ she said: ‘water.’ he said: ‘O Allâh! bless their meat and water.””

The Prophet peace be upon him added: “At that time they did not have grain, and if they had grain he would have also invoked Allâh to bless it. If somebody has only these two things as his sustenance, his health and disposition will be badly affected unless he lives in Mecca.”

The Prophet peace be upon him continued: “Then Abraham said to Ishmael’s wife: ‘When your husband comes give my regards to him and tell him that he should keep firm the threshold of his gate.’ When Ishmael came back he asked his wife, ‘did anyone call no you?’ she replied: ‘yes, a good looking old man came to me,’ so she praised him and added: ‘He asked about you and I informed him that we were in a good condition.’ Ishmael asked her:’ did he give you any piece of advice?’ she said; ‘yes, he told me to give his regards to you and ordered that you should keep firm the threshold of your gate.’ on that Ishmael said: ‘It was my father, and you are the threshold of the gate. He has ordered me to keep you with me.’

Then Abraham stayed away from them for a period as long as Allâh wished and called on them afterwards. He saw Ishmael under a tree near Zam Zam, sharpening his arrows. When he saw Abraham, he rose up to welcome him (and they greeted each other as a father does with his son or a son does with his father). Abraham said: ‘O Ishmael! Allâh has give me an order.’ Ishmael said: ‘Do what your Lord has ordered you to do.’ Abraham asked: ‘Will you help me?’ Ishmael said: ‘I will help you.’ Abraham said: ‘Allâh has ordered me to build a house here,’ pointing to a hillock higher than the land surrounding it.

“Then they raised the foundations of the House (the Kaba). Ishmael brought the stones while Abraham built and when the walls became high Ishmael brought this stone and put it for Abraham who stood over it and carried on building. While Ishmael was handing him the stones, and both of them were saying: “Our Lord! Accept this service from us, verily, You are the All Hearer, the All Knower.” (Ch 2:127 Qur’ân)

The Prophet peace be upon him added: “Then both of them went on building and going round the Kaba saying O our Lord! Accept this service from us, verily, You are the All Hearer, the All Knower.”; (Saheeh al-Bukhaaree).

Ibn Abbas narrated a slightly different version: “When Abraham had differences with his wife (because of her jealousy of Hajar, Ishmael’s mother), he took Ishmael and his mother and went away. They had a water skin with them containing some water. Ishmael’s mother used to drink water from the water skin so that her milk would increase for her child. When Abraham reached Mecca, he made her sit under a tree and afterwards returned home. Ishmael’s mother followed him and when they reached Kada, she called him from behind: ‘O Abraham! To whom are you leaving us?’ He replied: ‘(I am leaving you) to Allâh’s care.’ she said: ‘I am satisfied to be with Allâh.’ She returned to her place and started drinking water from the water skin and her milk increased for her child.

“When the water had all been used up, she said to herself: ‘I had better go and look so that I may see somebody.’ she ascended As-Safa mountain and looked hoping to see somebody but in vain. When she came down to the valley, she ran till she reached Al Marwa Mountain. She ran to and for (between the two mountains) many times. Then she said to herself; ‘I had better go and see the state of the child.’ she went and found it in a state of one on the point of dying. She could not endure to watch it dying and said to herself: ‘If I go and look I may find somebody.’ she went and ascended al-Safa mountain and looked for a long while but could not find anybody. thus she completed seven rounds of running between As-Safa and Al-Marwa. Again she said to herself: ‘I had better go back and see the state of the child.’ but suddenly she heard a voice, and she said to that strange voice. ‘help us if you can offer any help.’ lo! it was Gabriel (who had made the voice) Gabriel hit the earth with his heel like this (Ibn Abbas hit the earth with his heel to illustrate it), and so the water gushed out. Ishmael’s mother was astonished and started digging.”

Abu Al Qasim, the Prophet peace be upon him said: “If she had left the water, (flow naturally, without her intervention) it would have been flowing on the surface of the earth.”

Ibn Abbas continued narrating: “Ishmael’s mother started drinking from the water, and her milk increased for her child. Afterwards some people of the tribe of Hurhum saw some birds while passing through the bottom of the valley and that astonished them. They said: “birds can only be found at a place where there is water.” They sent a messenger who searched the place and found the water and returned to inform them about it. Then they all went to her and said: “O Ishmael’s mother! Will you allow us to be with you (or dwell with you)?” Then they stayed there.

“Later on her boy reached the age of puberty and married a lady from them. Then an idea occurred to Abraham, which he disclosed to his wife (sarah). ‘I want to call on my dependants I left at Mecca.’ When he went there he greeted Ishmael’s wife and said: ‘where is Ishmael?’ She replied: ‘He has gone out hunting.’ Abraham said to her: ‘When he comes, tell him to change the threshold of his gate.’ When Ishmael came she told him the same and whereupon Ishmael said to her: ‘you are the threshold so go to your family (you are divorced).’

“Again Abraham thought of visiting his dependents whom he had left at Mecca, and told his wife (Sarah) of his intentions. Abraham came to Ishmael’s house and asked: ‘Where is Ishmael?’ Ishmael’s wife replied: ‘He has gone out hunting,’ and added: ‘will you stay for some time and have something to eat and drink?’ Abraham said: ‘what is your food and what is your drink?’ she replied: ‘our food is meat and our drink is water.’ he replied: ‘O Allâh! Bless their meals and their drink.’

Abu Al Qasim (the Prophet) peace be upon him said: “Because of Abraham’s invocation there are blessings in Mecca.”

Ibn Abbas continued: “Once more Abraham thought of visiting his family he had left at Mecca and he told his wife (Sarah) of his decision. HE went and found Ishmael behind the Zam-zam well, mending his arrows. He said: ‘O Ishmael, your Lord has ordered me to build a house for Him.’ Ishmael said: ‘Obey the order of your Lord.’ Abraham said: ‘Allâh has also ordered me that you should help me therein.’ Ishmael said: ‘Then I will do so.’ So both of them were saying: “O our Lord! Accept this service of us, verily, You are the All Hearer, the All Knower.” (Ch 2:127)

When the building became high and the old man (Abraham) could no longer lift the stones to such a high position, he stood over the stone of Al Maqam and Ishmael carried on handing him the stones and both of them were saying: “O our Lord! Accept this service of us, verily You are the All Hearer, the All Knower.””

Allâh the Almighty told us of Abraham’s affliction with his beloved son: And he said after his rescue from the fire: “Verily! I am going to my Lord. He will guide me! My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous.” SO We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. And when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: “O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allâh), so look what do you think?” “O my father! Do that which you are commanded Insha’Allâh (if Allâh wills), you shall find me of the patient.”

Then when they had both submitted themselves to the Will of Allâh and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); and We called out to him: “O Abraham! You have fulfilled the dream (vision!” Verily! Thus do We reward those who perform good deeds, totally for Allâh’s sake only. Verily, that indeed was a manifest trial and We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (a ram;) and We left for him ( a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. “Salamun (peace) be upon Abraham!” Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsineen (good doers). Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. (Ch 37:99-111 Qur’ân)

Time passed. One day Abraham was sitting outside his tent thinking of his son Ishmael and Allâh’s sacrifice. His heart was filled with awe and love for Allâh for His countless blessings. A big tear dropped from his eyes and reminded him of Ishmael.

In the meantime, three angels descended to the earth; Gabriel, Israphael, and Michael. they came in human shapes and saluted Abraham. Abraham arose and welcomed them. He took them inside his tent thinking they were strangers and guests. He seated them and made sure that they were comfortable, then excused himself to go to his people.

His wife Sarah arose when he entered. She had become old and white haired. Abraham said to her: “We have three strangers in the house.” “Who are they?” she asked. “I do not know any of them,” he answered. “What food have we got?” He asked. Half a sheep.” she replied, “Half a sheep! Slaughter a fat calf for them; they are strangers and guests.” he ordered while leaving.

The servants roasted and served a calf. Abraham invited the angels to eat and he started eating so as to encourage them. He continued, but when he glanced at his guests to assure they were eating, he noticed that none of them had touched the food. He said to the them: “Are you not going to eat?” He resumed eating, but when he glanced at them again he found that they were still not eating. Their hands did not reach out for the food. HE began to fear them.

Abraham’s fears increased. The angels, however were reading his inner thoughts and one of them said: “Do not fear.” Abraham raised his head and replied: “Indeed I am in fear. I have asked you to eat food but you do not stretch out your hands to eat. DO you intend me evil?”

One of the angels smiled and said: “We do not eat. We are Allâh’s angels.” One of them then turned towards his wife and conveyed the glad tidings about Isaac (Ishaaq).

Almighty Allâh revealed: Verily! There came Our Messengers to Abraham with glad tidings. They said: “Salaam (greetings or peace)!” he answered: “Salaam (greetings or peace)!” and he hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. But, when he saw their hands went not towards it (the meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear of them. They said: “Fear not, we have been sent against the people of Lot.” And his wife was standing there and she laughed (either, because the Messengers did not eat their food or for being glad for the destruction of the people of Lot). But We gave her glad tidings of Isaac, and after him of Jacob.

She said (in astonishment): “Woe unto me! Shall I bear a child while I am an old woman, and here is my husband an old man? Verily! This is a strange thing!” They said: “Do you wonder at the Decree of Allâh? The Mercy of Allâh and His Blessings be on you, O the family (of Abraham). Surely, He (Allâh) is All praiseworthy, All-Glorious.” (CH 11:69-73).

The cute Little boy

He was born on August 02, 2008.

This picture was taken two days after birth His name is Mohammad Aris Illyas My beloved grandson.

He is two days old in this picture. To me his so cute . My this is the felling of  a grandfather who got the first grand

8 days old wearing his baby gloves. Do you think he could a boxing champion in the future? Who knows, may be someday he will become a wrestler.

A year after. he was still cute little baby boy. for me he become more cute. he has his own ability.not like the other baby boy. On 6 months old he already knew how to get down the stairs of 8 steeps with falling. He can even got upstairs, although that time he was still crawling not walking. That’s normal for a baby of six before they can walk they will learn by crawling, but this baby with out our consent we wonder why he was full of dirt.  knowing he was down stairs upon our neighbour  told us that he was playing  on the ground and they saw him getting up back to the house. He also knows to dance shuffle at the age of 6 months until he grew up 11/2 years old but  this time he is  already 2 year and 2 months. that ability has lost . He did not anymore dancing when told him to dance. I’m doubt that there might be some factors that affect his ability. Is that really the behavior of a baby when they are getting old forgetting their unusual acts? may be some can give a comments about this?

This time he was trying to learn to write. Look at the picture he is holding a pencil. He disturbed his uncle studying. When he saw person writing  he also wants to write. I have videos recorded while he was dancing but there is a problem when I upload some of it, so I cannot upload the videos. If t here is someone who can help me or telling me the best way to upload videos I need your help. As long as it is free, because I have not enough money to pay for it. I’m writing a blog just fun and may be I share something to the readers of my blogs. I appreciate people who voluntarily lend their hands and abilities to improved my Hobby of writing.

This page was copied  from  other internet source. My main purpose is to share  the idea of Celebration of Eid Ul-Adha by the Muslims communities  and the  Islam believers.

The sacrefice animal

Hari Raya Haji (Arabic: عيد الأضحى ‘Eid Ul-Adha) or Hari Raya Haji is a festival That is celebrated around the world. It is the largest in the Muslim festival of Eid is celebrated in Addition to any one of Syawal. Eid al-Adha is celebrated on the day of the ten, eleven, twelve and Thirteen months Zulhijjah Others year. Takbir Eid al-Adha begins with the night 10-Hijjah, followed by Prayers and the Eid al-Adha Eid al-Adha Sermon in the morning 10-Hijjah, the response was followed with a Sacrifice can be Performed either on 10 or 11 or 12 or day 13-Hijjah.

Eid al-Adha is a special celebration Because it is a day for Muslims to commemorate the Sacrifice of the story of Abraham in fulfilling the commands of Allah and to his son-tolerance Ishmael in order to meet God Almighty

In Addition, one of the privileges and Eid al-Adha Today Tasyrik Sacrifice is a religious. Rituals of Sacrifice can only be done in four days after the start time Preacher Eid al-Adha Sermon delivered up BEFORE the sun sank on the 13th day of Dhul-Hijjah.

In terms of language, meaning close to the victim, while in terms it means the exercise of religious orders or obey the commands of God Because he wants to draw closer to Him.

Sacrifice Feast falls on the tenth day of the month-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic Hijra calendar. 10 Hijjah is an IMPORTANT date in the history of Islam in Which Adam and Eve his wife excluded from heaven and down to earth BEFORE the meeting at Arafat, outside the city of Mecca.

On election day, circumcised Muslims wearing the most beautiful, cleanest, and also rates wearing perfume. On the morning of the Feast of Sacrifice, the Muslims will perform Hari Raya Prayers of `two racks with 7 followed by AHS in the first 5 Interpretation Interpretation in the second rak` ahs `AHS shelves.

Normally the Eid al-Adha Prayers Slightly accelerated compared with Eid Prayers. Accelerated a bit of wisdom Adha Prayers are to give more time to Slaughter the Sacrifice. A little wisdom Eid Prayers will be passed to allow an opportunity for Bear Fight THEIR who are not fulfilling obligation to pay zakat and Desirable to eat BEFORE going to the mosque. [1]

However for the Eid al-Adha, the wisdom of the next meal Desirable That is the first food eaten on that day is a Blessing meat. After Prayers, the Sacrifice will be initiated. Cows, goats, and sheep That Graded to be slaughtered en masse in the mosque BEFORE distributed to the public, Mulia to Bear Fight in need.

Hari Raya Haji is celebrated When Muslims make the pilgrimage to Mecca, to visit the Temple and sacrifices. the Koran did not specify, but the Muslims hold That this festival commemorates the willingness of victims to Surrender THEIR children of Abraham as a Sacrifice to God .

After the prayer, Muslims will once again flock to Cemeteries to visit loved ones. Everyone will be wearing new clothes and after That the young will ask forgiveness from the parents. That after all people will touch a variety of dishes Hilman BEFORE the visit, and visit other Others.

Mecca"Baitullah"[edit] Hari Raya Haji in the Hadith

  • According to the Hadith (translation), Which was Narrated by Abu Dawood from Anas, who says: “The Prophet Came to Medina, while They Were busy rejoicing over two days. Then the Prophet said:” What day is two days? They said: “We usual happy for two days at the time of Ignorance: The Prophet said:” He has replaced it with a better day than two days for the Eid and the Eid al-Adha you. “(Abu Daud and Imam Abu Anas Al-Nasai)
  • According to the Hadith (translation) “no good son of Adam is more loved by Allah on the day of Eid al-Adha religious but a victim. Surely That animals are Graded on the Day of judgment will come complete with horns, hair and Nails . Sacrifice of worship is Indeed Blessed by God BEFORE the blood of animals That Fell to Earth. So Should you feel relieved and pleased with the Sacrifice of prayer That you do. “(Hadith Narrated by At-Tirmidhi)
  • Based on a hadith (translation), Which was Narrated by Imam Tirmizi and Al-Hakim says: “There by the children of Adam on the Day of Adha will be a favored charity of the shed blood of God (slaughtered victim). That Came On the day of Sacrifice judgment with its horns, feathers, claws and Nails. Surely the blood of the victims took place at the Glorious God BEFORE the sight of blood was spilled to the earth, then do ye Shall Sacrifice with a clean heart. “
  • Based on a hadith (translation) Ibn Abbas and Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansariy ra:

A cattle slautered on the day of sacrefice Or the "Korban"

Ibn Juraij said: I have been Told by ‘Ata’ Ibn Abbas and Jabir bin Abdullah Al-ra Ansariy both say: No prayer for the Prayer Day Fitr (Eid) and Prayer Day Sacrifice (Eid al-Adha). After a while I Asked ‘Ata’ about it: Then he said: “I have been Told by Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansariy That reported: There is no Adhan for Prayer Day Fitr (Eid), either or after the priest Sulawesi Came out . Also no iqamat or anything.[2]

The other term for  Eid Ul-Adha in malay is (Hari Raya Korban) or The Sacrifice Day.  In the 10th in islamic calendar. The  muslims  will celebrate the  day by sacrificing their breed livestock like; cows, goats,  and camels. This as what has  mention in this article.  Sacrificing animals following what is  reveled in the Al-Quran is a usual affair to muslim like me, But it’s hard say when we sacrificing, Time efforts, and feeling just for the sake of others. and or to our family because of love with them.

It’s rather hard to accept when sacrifice our feelings to our love ones. to the who has departed from us even though we are not willing those things to happen,  This is the  truth of life. What ever should it happen we have to surrender our selves to Allah. Ask His forgiveness and guidance.

All  of these are depending to what is the purpose of the sacrifice that we have done. What we have done or to done depends upon our intention, If it is for good then we will be rewarded and given forgiveness from our past sins. In reverse, we will be punished  if we pretend to good, but with a bad intention.

We ever we  have done or will be doing, it’s up to us think what is the best for us. Anyway we have to think.

We Just Don’t Think Deeply

We Just Don’t Think Deeply

Allah S.W. T have created human beings just perfect, most of us did not notice His creation on us.
What made us not really as perfect as it should be is that, some of us did not use their mind, although we have this ability to think, or may be some us just ignore this. because of personal bad intention to others. We know the truth, or the consequences of our actions, but strong desires overcome our brilliant mind. to think positively.

In ancient era people fighting with each other to survive, to get a throne, the strong will survive and the weak will be down.
That was a time of uncivilized people. But today we are in well-educated,and high-tech era, although there is a few who is an illiterate, as I’ve observed most people who did crimes for now a day are highly educated persons. I even asked myself why people in these level can’t even control their emotions, can’t use their mind to think? Thy are well-trained, well motivated and even well-disciplined persons, still doing bad, or even worst to others. What about the uneducated not to do that? Its better may to be an illiterate, they even know how to love others, they are more respectful than educated one.

These are what happen if we neglected our religious belief and responsibilities. most of educated person have high knowledge of everything, including religion of every race in this world. We just don’t think deeply that we are created to love, to respect each other and to keep up peace and live in harmony with every people in this beautiful world.

What a pleasant life we have if all people in this world do what our religion told us to do. There is no religion teach his followers to do bad things, but it’s we people does, neglecting our responsibility as a human.

It is true in a saying that ” In human there’s an animal, but in animal there is no human”

The Lightning

Intercloud lightnings over Toulouse (France). ...

The Danger Of Lightning

It was around 4:30pm, when a minor typhoon struck our resident, here in the palm estate were I work.
Suddenly the heavy rain poured on , a minute later the lightning struck with out caution.
I was inside my house surfing the internet with my PC. I was shock with the heavy light interring to house then followed by the loud roar of thunder. All of a sudden the light in the house gone off. I stand quickly from my set and looked outside. What a dazzling light of lightning seconds by seconds continuously striking off.
I want to go to take a look for the gen sets , I was the one who is on duty that time, but I;m afraid of the lightning so I waited till the rain goes off.The thunderstorm last for an hour before it stop. It was already 5:30pm, time to change power for the gen sets. As I inter the engine room the engine still running, but has no current at all.
I was in doubt that the dynamo of the gen set is damaged.

The following day, I made a report to my manager about the incident. The manager immediately call an electrician and I was not mistaken we found out it’s really the dynamo was damaged, struck by the lightning .

Repair Cost

This gen set is 85 KVA branded by Cummins England. Has been brought to the workshop in Lahad Datu Province for the repair. Not the whole gen set has been repaired, but only the dynamo that was damage as shown in the pictures.

It took 5 days for the electricians to recoil the dynamo. Our Estate Manager told them to make it ready as fast as possible, because our office needed the current to run for the computers which are use to records of all the daily wages and other important files to stored into the computers.

The three gen set are already 13 years old. May be this should be
the time for the Company to get the new generator. In fact these 3 gen set making the round robin in getting damage. If One had been fixed the other will be malfunctioning.

Star Trek Meets the Road Runner

Image via Wikipedia

Zachary Quinto as Spock in the 2009 Star Trek ...

Image via Wikipedia

If you like this one, remember to tell your friends about it!

…Let us suppose that the Enterprise is doing some sort of research
mission to an unknown planet. I think the Captains Log would be worth a

Captain’s Log, Stardate 54324.5: Starfleet Command has directed the
Enterprise to do a preliminary exploration of planet — in advance of a
full research team. Scanners report the atmosphere to be breathable,
but are receiving confusing readings with regard to life forms. I am
beaming down with a landing party composed of all our chief officers
except for poor Scotty.

Supplemental-1: Redshirt Riley has received a head injury, apparently
while exploring under a high rock shelf. He reports only hearing a loud
sound and jumping before being struck. After examination by Dr. McCoy
he has been judged capable of continuing duty.

Supplemental-2: We have encountered an alien creature on this planet.
While it does not itself seem menacing, an unfortunate occurrence took
place when it was present. Specifically, on my orders Lt. Sulu withdrew
his phaser. The creature disappeared leaving a puff of smoke,
immediately following which a loud noise was heard next to Sulu. Sulu
fired, hitting Ens. Chekov. Oddly enough, although Sulu’s weapon was
set to stun, Chekov was also covered with a black powder similar to
soot. Mr. Chekov has been sent back to the ship for examination and

Stardate 54326.2, Mr. Spock reporting: Tricorder readings indicate
that the creature we encountered earlier is constantly moving at great
speed over the surface of the planet. We have encountered the creature
once again. In an attempt to slow the creature for study, I attempted
to fire on it. The creature, however, appeared to move faster than the
phaser beam. Regretfully, the beam struck an outcropping of rock above
the Captain’s head, causing it to break off and fall. Although it
appears that several tons of rock fell squarely on the Captain, he was
driven straight into the ground but apparently not seriously injured,
though stunned. The Captain has been beamed up to Sick bay, leaving me
in command of the research party.

Captain’s Log, Stardate 54342.1: The creature is still at large on
the planet surface. While Mr. Spock continues to lead a research party
I am currently at work with Mr. Scott on an Acme Pressure Cooker for our
lab, for when the creature is finally apprehended.

Captain’s Log, Stardate 54342.3: The strange occurrences that have
dogged the landing party since our arrival at this planet have led me
to believe that the creature is in some way directly responsible for
them. Mr. Chekov and I have both been declared fit for return to duty,
though Dr. McCoy has entered in his medical log that he feels we should
be kept under observation.

Mr. Spock has constructed a device which he suspects should be able to
counteract the creature’s incredible speed as follows: We have placed
dish of birdseed out in the open, with several signs pointing to it.
This dish is atop a cleverly concealed trap door, which will open when
any weight falls on it. The creature will then travel a slide,
eventually being deposited in a cage constructed of sheets of
transparent aluminum. We will then be free to analyze it at our
leisure. Meanwhile, I have forbidden all beaming down to the surface of
the planet except on my or Mr. Spock’s direct order.

Captain’s Log, supplemental: The plan failed. The creature was
indeed lured by the birdseed, as expected. It sped to the dish,
consumed the bait, and sped off without setting the trap. Mr. Spock is
as puzzled as I, and has begun tests to discover the flaw in the design.
I have sent out three search parties to see if we can box the creature
in, one headed by Mr. Sulu, one by Mr. Chekov, and one by Sociologist

Captain’s Log, stardate 54342.8: Sociologist Xontel has been
temporarily incapacitated. In pursuing the creature, he and his men
somehow managed to cross the place where Mr. Spock’s trap was set just
as he completed the corrections to it. The trap was sprung, and all
four of my men were suspended for a moment in mid-air, puzzled, just
before they fell into the cage we constructed. We are now trying to
release them with phasers, as the lock was inadvertently smashed by the
impact from Sociologist Xontel’s foot as he fell. I consider this a
major setback. Mr. Spock considers it “fascinating.”

Captain’s Log, stardate 54343.4: In an all-out attempt to stop the
creature once and for all, I have had a phaser rifle beamed down from
the Enterprise. The creature has behaved in an extremely cunning
manner, yet I am unsure whether this is a sign of actual intelligence.
Lt. Uhura has been unsuccessful in her attempts to raise Starfleet
Command. Meanwhile, Mr. Scott informs me that our dilithium crystals
are deteriorating at an alarming rate. He has jury rigged a system that
will prevent the decay for a time, but it is imperative that we find new
crystals soon.

Captain’s Log, supplemental: Mr. Sulu reports high energy tricorder
reading from an area of the planet in which the creature has not yet been
sighted. He has taken a small party, including Mr. Spock, to the
high-elevation spot from which the readings emanate. I have begun to
analyze the creatures movements. It seems to travel consistently over a
set path. Perhaps we can corner it in a tunnel it seems to pass through

Captain’s Log, stardate 54344.7: Mr. Sulu has located a cache of Acme
dilithium crystals atop a high cliff. Regretfully, while collecting them,
the edge of the cliff broke off, and he and Mr. Spock plummeted several
hundred feet to the ground below. Strangely enough, they both survived
the fall with no more than raising a cloud of dust on impact, although
they did pass the chunk of rock on the way down and end up completely
buried. A rescue excavation has commenced, and they should be safe

Captain’s Log, stardate 54344.9: Mr. Spock has beamed up to the ship
with them to assist Mr. Scott in their installation, as he foresees
compatibility problems. Back on the planet’s surface, Mr. Chekov led
seven men into the tunnel in an attempt to capture the creature in transit.
A loud BEEP, BEEP was heard, and Chekov aimed the phaser rifle and
commanded his men to spread out. I wish to state for the record that I
would have acted similarly, and that Ensign Chekov should in no way be
held responsible for the unfortunate circumstances arising from the
unexpected appearance of an old Earth-style freight train. He has been
beamed back up to the ship with minor injuries.

Captain’s Log, stardate 54345.1: Dr. McCoy has beamed down with a hypo
containing a mixture of kyranide, tri-ox compound, Scalosian concentrate,
a thereagram derivative, and some other items he found in unmarked
containers in Sick bay. By injecting a small amount into each member of
the landing party, I hope to be able to deal with the creature at its own
high speed terms.

Captain’s Log, supplemental: The latest experiment to deal with the
strange creature has failed. As Dr. McCoy was injecting a measured does
of the compound, it abruptly appeared behind him and uttered a loud BEEP,
BEEP! Dr. McCoy, understandable flustered, accidentally pressured in the
entire contents of the hypo into his arm. A full security team is in
pursuit of him, waiting for the effects of the drug to wear off.

Captain’s Log, stardate 54345.2: I have ordered the landing party
transported back to the ship. The new dilithium crystals have been
successfully installed. On my responsibility, the ship is preparing to
engage main phasers to attack the creature, which continues on its
semi-erratic course across the planet’s surface.

Captain’s Log, supplemental: This is a warning to all other starships
that may pass this way. Do not approach this planet! The illogical
events occurring here are too much to overcome with simple science. If
you have heard the events transcribed in the rest of this log, you will
learn that this creature is nearly undefeatable. We channeled full ship’s
power through the phaser banks. Theoretically, the creature should have
been destroyed; hover, the energies were too much strain for the Acme
crystals. The full force of the phasers backlashed over the Enterprise,
engulfing her completely. At first, the only noticeable effect was a
complete failure of all systems save emergency gravity and life support.
Then a web of black lines spread through the Enterprise’s superstructure.
Next, the ship began breaking up, piece by piece, falling through the
atmosphere to land on the surface of the planet. When the ship had
collapsed entirely, my crew was left hanging in space for a short time,
and finally each of us began to fall to the planet below. We have no
theories on how any of us survived, but every crewmember has reported
nothing more than a sense of uneasiness, followed by the realization that
they were several hundred miles up in the air, a sinking sensation, and
then a gradual drop: first the feet, then the body, and finally the head,
usually wearing a resigned expression of perplex. We are attempting
now to communicate with the creature in the hopes that it will prove
intelligent. Perhaps we can communicate our peaceful intentions to it.
Mr. Spock has constructed a crude rocket launcher from the wreckage of the
ship, and with this we hope to send the recorder marker up into space,
where hopefully someone will find it. Captain James T. Kirk, recording.

Why Dating is More Fun than Marriage
By Lisa Daily

I know a lot of single women (and a few single men) who are just itching to get married.
They dream of matching towels, freshly scrubbed children and sharing the Sunday crossword puzzle in bed. They dream of a life of shared jokes from a You-and-Me-Against-the-World bubble.
The towels usually come with the rest of the bridal gifts. The kids, if you have them, don’t stay fresh-scrubbed for more than five or six minutes. And in fact, if you have two or more, one of them will have gotten into something disgusting and staining by the time you manage to get the other one dressed.
Marriage, along with its own particular brand of bliss, generally drags a few other things along with it:

– If you’re married and your spouse is making you crazy, you have no place to go but the grocery store. And then you have to come back.
– Dating means the tingle of first kisses and carefully thought-out gestures meant to win your affection.
– Marriage means a standing birthday order at the local flower shop and mystery toenail clippings left under the couch. It also means never feeling that first-kiss tingle again.
– Dating usually means best behavior, sexual and otherwise. Marriage means your spouse laughs when he farts in bed, he leaves his dirty underwear on the bathroom counter (why?) and already knows whether or not “it was good for you.”
– Dating means wild, passionate, elevator/cliff/hot tub sex. Marriage means every Saturday and alternating Tuesdays.

Lisa Earle McLeod (, a 20-plus-year marriage veteran who writes about everything from marital disillusionment and flat-line libidos to drive-through spirituality in her hilarious book, Finding Grace When You Can’t Even Find Clean Underwear says, “The reality of marriage is once the hormone-induced endorphin buzz wears off, you’re left with your same old boring life. Only now, there’s another person who wants space on the couch.”

McLeod adds, “Better barware and matching towels cannot help you sustain happiness for more than a day.”
There’s a reason that chick flicks and romance novels always end at the beginning of the relationship. And while there’s a certain appeal to having someone know you so well they’ve seen all your disgusting habits, from waxing your upper lip, to throwing up around the clock with a nasty bout of the stomach flu, the downside is you have to witness all of their disgusting habits as well… often on a daily basis.

“Dating is about possibilities of who you could be. Marriage forces you to face the reality of who you really are.”
McLeod adds, “Whenever I talk about the truths of marriage, the married women in the audience all nod their heads and smile but the singles tend to think I’m some jaded middle-aged woman who didn’t do it right. There’s a little secret part of me wishes I could track them down in 10 years to ask them how their storybook is going.

“Don’t get me wrong, I love being married,” McLeod says, “Well, most of time. But it’s just like a career or parenting: Parts of it are not so pretty and a lot of hard work. In hindsight, I wish I’d cultivated a bigger girlfriend network before I got married and during the early years of my marriage before I had children.”

So why are so many of us so anxious to toss away sole control of the remote and sleeping in the middle of the bed? Is it loneliness, the desire to belong somewhere, a yearning for formal flatware?

“Dating is more fun than marriage because dating is about going out places together — the act of going on a date. Marriage is the act of legally binding up your assets and your lives. Even the word dating is more fun.”

Traci, a dater who is single again after her marriage went south, said the best thing about dating again is that “Dating is like a buffet. And after years and years of the same old Egg-beaters and Metamucil for breakfast, I was suddenly offered stacks of pancakes, Eggs Benedict and bacon. Lots of bacon.”

The downside, Traci says, is that “With dating, you always wonder what the other person is thinking.”

McLeod adds, “With marriage, you already know exactly what they’re thinking. It’s both a blessing and a curse.”

In Islam Dating is Prohibited

* From: “Muslims Are Good Folks”
* Date: Wed, 11 Jun 2008 10:30:15 -0400

Why has Islam prohibited dating?

“Dating” as it is currently practiced in much of the world shall not exist
among Muslims — where a man and a woman (or boy/girl) are in a one-on-one
intimate relationship, spending time together alone, getting to know each
other in a very deep way.

A man and a woman are not allowed to be alone together, and any physical
contact before marriage is forbidden. Hence, Dating is not permitted in

Allah has prohibited girl/boyfriend relationships in the Qur’an

“(Lawful to you in marriage) are chaste women from the believers and chaste
women from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before
your time, when you have given their due Mahr (bridal-money given by the
husband to his wife at the time of marriage), desiring chastity (i.e. taking
them in legal wedlock) not committing illegal sexual intercourse, nor taking
them as girlfriends. … – Al-Ma’idah 5:5.

If a Muslim man has the desire and willingness to assume marital
responsibilities, and he doesn?t have anyone in mind, he might ask his
friends, family, and relatives if there is a lady that might be suitable for
him among their acquaintances and relatives, and then the couple can meet
with their family members.

As a result, many marriages in the Muslim world were traditionally arranged
marriages, though this is not a religious requirement. However, both couples
can not be forced to accept an arranged marriage and if a man likes someone
(with the intention of marriage) that he knows from work, neighborhood or
acquaintances, etc? he shall propose to her.

Islam also encourages Muslims to marry persons for whom they have special
feelings and are comfortable with. Thus, Islam recommends that potential
marriage partners see one another before proposing marriage. Explaining the
reason for such a recommendation, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:

That would enhance/foster the bonding.

However the prospective couple shall not meet in private, this might lead to
extremely unwanted situations, as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said :

Whenever a man is alone with a woman, Satan is the third among them?
(Reported by At-Tirmidhi)..

At all times, Muslims should follow the commands of the Qur’an “Tell the
believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and
protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer
for them. “

In conclusion, Islam lays its social structure on the basis of a permanent
relationship between a man and a woman in the form of a family.

Consequently, to preserve this marital relationship, it forbids all forms of
temporary relationships between a man and a woman. Pre-marital relationships
in Islam are not considered respectful for neither the man nor the woman,
nor is it constructive for the concept or the building the family or the
Islamic society.

The Elephants’ Attacts

Preparing to attack

In my whole life, this is the firs time I ‘ve seen the group of  elephants for

for real. These pictures had taken during the day we were patrolling to drive away the elephants from entering the Plantation area.

This was my first day  involved in guarding the boundary. of Matamba Estate palm oil plantation in Lahad Datu Sabah.  I haven’t seen even a single elephant   in real situation.

I’ve only see elephants on tv screen usually, “The National Geography tv program on RTM. The program goes on the  air everyday at 7:00pm.

This time it’s not in any tv show or movie, but I saw it lively in real world. In front me and the 4 others  of my co-workers.

I was shocked and afraid of the elephants might  harm us. After watching  theme for an hour. I had recovered from being nervous.

If wild animals are getting fierce, then may be there will be a possible problem with the for becoming aggressive. Like for example; got sick  or they might be wounded due to the illegal  hunters shot them accidentally if not intentionally.

I should say that it’s the human who is fierce, but not the

animals rather, because people always if not all,  most us had

made the destruction to their habitats.

One example is the logging activity. It will destroy the

forest where most wild of  animals are living. Another

fact is plantation. A huge plantation company barren

the area of virgin forest for their own personal purposes

disregarding the wildlife salvation.

Generally, human not only destroying the wildlife

habitat, but the wild animals it self are also affected.

There are an activist who conserve the flora and

fauna, But to  my own  opinion these organization are

already to late to rehabilitate the  wildlife.  Because they

took action ,where most  of  the animals were already

extinct, some were totally wiped out.

Not even a  single species had exist to this day.  Below is one of facts that human is destructions of the nature.

(Steller’s Sea Cow

Steller’s Sea Cow was discovered in the Aleutian Islands by      George Steller while exploring with Vitus Bering in 1741. They grew as large as 35 feet long and weighed up to three-and-a-half tons.    Sailors ate their meat and used their leather.  They were easily killed and vanished from their only home within 30 years after Steller’s discovery.}

This  excerpt is the evidence why people I judged to be   fierce than animals. People could vanish  the animals, but in reverse. animals didn’t.

We should have thought the result  before

any activities on the forest becoming worst.

However, development couldn’t  be stopped, we  have to face the truth

that population of the world is growing rapidly, either we

like it or not, this  is reality of life.  Which growing of population had to had addition budget. Especially to highly

populated country that   has to balance the economy with

its population to meet their needs.

In Indonesia and Malaysia have, concomitant with the  destruction of enormous tracts of tropical rainforest, some of the world’s longest lists of threatened wildlife. Of the more than 400 land mammal species of Indonesia, 15 are critically endangered and another 125 threatened. Of Malaysia’s nearly 300 land mammal species, 6 are critically endangered and 41 threatened. The numbers of threatened species climb higher when terrestrial reptiles, amphibians, and birds are included. Moreover, certain animals, such as the orangutan, are only found in these countries; when their rainforest habitat vanishes, so will they.

Five mammals show the impending disaster: the Sumatran tiger, Sumatran and Bornean orangutans, Asian elephant, and Sumatran rhinoceros. Each of those species is endangered, with the three eponymous Sumatran species critically endangered. They once flourished in precisely those areas where rainforests have since been cleared for oil palm.

Oil palm plantations, along with logging, fires, and other factors, destroy rainforest habitat, hinder migration patterns, and block travel corridors. Roads and plantations fragment the rainforest, facilitate encroaching settlements, and make animals accessible to illegal hunting and poaching. If they enter plantations while searching for food outside the rainforest, animals may be killed by workers. They are also at risk when plantation companies set forest fires to clear land for oil palm; some fires burn out of control, demolishing larger areas than anticipated.

Plantations also pollute the soil and water with pesticides and untreated palm oil-mill effluent, cause soil erosion and increased sedimentation in rivers, and cause air pollution due to forest fires.

The demand for palm oil is forecast to double by 2020. To meet that production increase, 1,160 new square miles will have to be planted every year for 20 years. Indonesia has 26,300 square miles more forest land officially allocated for new oil palm plantations; Malaysia has almost 3,000 square miles more. The expected thousands of square miles of new plantings on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo could kill off the remaining orangutans, rhinos, and tigers.

Palm oil is forecast to be the world’s most produced and internationally traded edible oil by 2012. Malaysia and Indonesia account for 83 percent of production and 89 percent of global exports. Oil palm is grown as an industrial plantation crop, often (especially in Indonesia) on newly cleared rainforest or peat-swamp forests and not on already degraded land or disused agricultural land. Since the 1970s, the area planted with oil palm in Indonesia has grown over 30-fold to almost 12,000 square miles. In Malaysia, the area devoted to oil palm has increased 12-fold to 13,500 square miles.

With increasing numbers of palm oil plantations. wildlife habitat becoming smaller and smaller. In Lahad Datu particularly Matamba Estate, the palm oil plantation where I work,.is an example of an area that the elephants have no place to live on. In Tabin Wildlife Reserve forest is being disturbed by an illegal hunters.
